You are right hose clamps.
I should have mentioned the replacement part had surface rust.
So I took out my orbital sander and sanded the rust off and then the only thing I had available to cover it was Tremclad black rust paint.
But the vehicle doesn’t have much time left the rest is moving...
It was for a 99 expedition.
I got one from a scrapyard in pretty good condition. Buying it new it was just insane.
The tricky part is you need to remove the wheel well mud guard molding to be able to pull it out.
It took me about two hours because the metal gear clamps were rusted and I had...
Hi
To be honest I did not do the part I took it to a stereo shop.
Installing the new deck wasn’t hard but I did not want to screw up installing the reverse camera.
Sorry about that.
I am away for work for two weeks but when I get back I will look under the steering console and see what...
Wow
I have to say I think you are very lucky if your differential is still working.
On my differential I have ID cards attached by wire ties externally.
Hi
I had a code that indicated that the neutral safety switch was not working properly so I change that.
A couple of days later I’m getting a code P1 406 and P0442.
Any idea if they are related with the neutral safety switch or is this something new?
Appreciate the advice

That’s what I used.
It took about 5 min to cut out the slopping piece of plastic preventing the stereo from being fully seated.

Same as me.
It’s on the same wiring loom as the two connectors going to the windshield washer reservoir.
It also has that plastic connector indicating it was attached to a bulkhead.
Likely the air compressor for the air suspension option.

Hi
I had to wash off the wires but they are light blue/black, yellow/black and black.
Since everything Is working I’ll stop wasting peoples time and I’ll just leave it at that.

Ok there’s a blue, black and yellow wire going to the plug.
I recently had LED headlights installed so I thought it might have to do with the headlights but I checked the drivers side and there isn’t a similar plug.
I did trace the plug and it’s bundled in the same wiring harness that goes...
Thanks I saw those kits but they rely on replacing the torsion keys which I heard was a bad idea?
Something about added stress on the torsion bars.
Have you used this kit? Any concerns?
On another point the kits indicate they are only for 4WD expeditions, would that be the same as an AWD...
Hi,
I'm looking for a 4"-6" lift kit for my 99 Ford Expedition.
I've found a 1999-2002 4WD Fabtech 6" Performance System K2006 lift kit on eBay but at $2500 that's a bit tough to justify.
Any other kits out there?
Thanks for the help,
Alex
Hi sorry for not getting back to you.
My trucks unexpectedly in the shop until Wednesday afternoon and I haven’t been able to try all the good advice I’ve received.
I will let you know Thursday.

So I had a little spill and my 99 Expedition ended up in a ditch.
Nothing terrible but I had to get a tow truck to winch me out.
That happened about two weeks ago and the truck has been driving just fine but today I noticed a gap on the left side front bumper.
Is the bumper on an angle...
Will do but are you saying that that connector is wired to a location near the battery and the other end is wired to the sensor at the catalytic converter?

Thanks, if it was an O2 sensor would I not get an error on start up?
Because right now I don’t get any trouble codes.
