A/C cool air not cold
The expedition was checked and the r134a was at the correct pressure. They washed something in front of the truck with a pressure washer. They also replaced blower motor I had to pay the part it was installed for free. Now it's nice and cold. Thanks to everyone that replied- Al95

A/C cool air not cold
2000 Ford Exp 4.6 new a/c compressor and heater core. The compressor was leaking oil and freon so it was replace. When the shop was about to start the repair they saw green water leaking from fire wall and told me it was the heater core also. Now I just get cool air not cold. What would be the...- Al95

aint the starter, aint the battery... what the heck is the problem!!??
It might be the crankshaft sensor. I had car that did the same the repair shop just replace the sensor it start- Al95

Some issues
The idle air control something like that. My truck did the same thing stalling had to give some gas to stay on then on gear shift it would stall and turn off.- Al95

Motor mounts
My exp is a 2 wheel drive after looking around finally went to dealership and found out the exp has parts for a 4 wheel drive also uses parts for 2000 and 2001 model. The mounts are for a 4 wheel drive- Al95

Motor mounts
2000 Ford Exp 5.4 2 wheel drive. I went to my local autozone and brought the motor mounts. The mechanic told me the mounts where no good. Took the exp to mechanic to have them replace. At 8pm today he calls me and tells me one of the motor mounts don't fit the truck. Call autozone they told...- Al95

Starts then turns off
A mechanic came to my house and took the exp to his shop. Before he left he told me it was Idle Air Control Valve. In less then an hour he got it fixed with new part that cost $47.00 now it is working great.- Al95

Starts then turns off
2000 Ford Expedition 5.4 2wheel drive. Exp starts then shuts down, press the gas pedal a little bit stays on. Was told it might be the air control or something like that. Any help thanks in advance.- Al95

Before I took the truck to the transmission an other mechanic said it was the power steering pump. He charge me $60 to replace the pump and the pressure hose +the parts. The sound did not go away.- Al95

The transmission shop just fixed my transmission for the same sound. It was the torque converter. With the transmission out they checked and replaced any damage part put on new sensors. They also did a transmission flush. We paid $850. Other shops just wanted to change the converter for the...- Al95

air flowing from only certain vents
I believe there are two sensors(actuator). One is for the temperature which is the one behind the radio. The other one is for the vents which is located on the side of the black Ac box in the drivers side. I hope this helps.- Al95

Is the control stuck that it can not be moved from low to hight. If the control can be moved all the way from low to high it is a simple fix. The part name a/c heater blower motor resistor. This controls the on and off and fan speed. This part was causing problems in my ac it only worked on low...- Al95
