yeah the transmission shop manager stated that the OEM filter will not fit on a aftermarket DEEP transmission OIL PAN. he said that he THINKS (not knows he THINKS) that he needs to use a 4wd oil pan filter. Don't know need to call the manufacturer to see what the part number of the filter would be.
what is the 3M panel adhesive go for? will it leak after time? what does it look like can you post pics?
What do you think a body shop will charge to redo the entire roof?
OVERHAUL it, I would suggest installing a Sure Cure Kit from Sonnax and a HUGE cooler. if you want to go even further install a huge oil pan as well if you can of course!
I have major bubbling and paint corrosion however I replaced everything and have used AC aluminum tape to cover holes of rust on the roof. I had to pay thousands to repaint the entire vehicle. why waste this much money on my expo you might ask? well its paid off and my monthly payment is ZERO...
you need to change the sensors if not the converter.. That recently happened to me. the sensors are throwing off your speed and this is going to result in a very expensive overhaul.
yeah I did to and Mine looks super huge behind the grill. you can see it pop! I am very satisfied, I really wanted a huge oil pan however I the mechanic stated that he could not find a oil filter for it.
Does any one know what kind of oil filter you use with a deep oil pan or a the part...
The limited slip is optional for the 4x2 and the 4x4 in those expos. you might have it. IF you want to change out your differential comps. you are probably looking at 900.00 bucks? give or take. wont this void the warranty?
ok what parts of the suspension would be damaged? would this stiffen the ride? maintain factory ride? when you lift the expo that much what is the max tire size you can fit under there?
3k for an over haul DAMN.. you can buy a Monster HD tranny for that with the stall. Yeah Hamfisted is right just upgrade the one you already have. Bigger oil cooler and a deeper oil pan (good luck on finding the filter for that oil pan). however you might want to get into a possible towing shift...
