If you're gonna do it, hunt for a f150 7700 or f250 LD and just steal the front axle. Can save the money on regearing, when odds are the axle is still fine And nobody else is looking for one Haven't seen as many 4.10 Expedition's in my travels and I've looked. Bottom side is squared away. Wasted far to long troubleshooting a faulty relay. Cut it out and voila power. Ain't tight or torqued, but she's back in. Gotta button up the front axle, then I can get the transmission bracket installed, then torque flywheel to torque converter and button up transmission.- SnuffThePunkz

I've not regeared my expedition. I should especially with 37's so I'm only comparing towing an expedition with 3.73's and my f150 7700 with 4.10's on 35's. Night and day difference. That was the nicer seat I got from a wrecker lol. I'm eyeballing the Carhartt ones if they still make them for this generation. Definitely don't plan on keeping her clean. Things have gone poorly. I've got the transmission disconnected, and enough space to pull the flywheel. But not enough to torque the new one on. The bracket I need pulled is the torsion bar bracket. I got you boo. If you get the complete swap kit you are golden. The weight of the vehicle is carried by the torsion bars, the airbags/shocks simply dampen the movement as the suspension travels. Also you'll read some info about the torsion bars on the EB being weaker so you can't get the same...- SnuffThePunkz

larger size tires
You can toss 315/70R17's (34") and they will clear and stuff pretty well. Photo is many years old and she changed a bit since then.- SnuffThePunkz
