    When you check your Diff tag it will read either 3.55 (open) or 3L55 (Trac loc), or whatever gear set you have. Only need friction modifier it it's got the "L" for trac "Loc".

    Help!! Something just broke off!

    From the pics both upside down and inverted it is the rear axel housing vent tube, it's normally tucked up inside the frame. As suggested put it back up (or down depending on your perspective) and zip tie it into place.

    A constant leaning experience...

    WOW I haven't seen rust like that with the exception of a 68 Mustang GT convertable I bought a few years back that had sat under a tree and had a couple of Dovermans living in it for many years. Ended up parting that car out as I don't do rust.:puke:
