    I dunno. What bulb? The display with the problem is LED dot matrix. The bulbs in the speedometer/tachometer/oil/fuel/temp gauges all work.

    Update: Just got back from dealer. Service consultant there read the codes and said there were a bunch relating to "oxygen sensor". I've asked him to send me the list of codes he read.

    That is excellent info. In this case, the vehicle wouldn't move so it had to be towed, and the dealer who had just serviced it seemed to be the right destination. But next time I get a warning light and the vehicle is still mobile, I'll do what you suggested! Good stuff.
