How To Access Lower Blend Door Actuator
Been busy with work and have not been around. My 06 Ltd has a no heat issue in the front. Rear heat works fine. I replaced the upper blend door actuator but it did not help. The old actuator still works. I'm thinking to swap out the lower but there is nothing out there in the diy world on how to...- bnicov

Broken Rear Shock
Driving home from work today, I hit a bump, nothing huge mind you and all of a sudden the truck's rear end felt really really loose. 06 Ltd btw with regular suspension. I pulled over and saw the passenger side rear tire canted out a bit. I looked underneath and saw that the bottom of the shock...- bnicov

Broken Rear Shock
Has anyone broke their rear shock?? That is what happened to my 06 Ltd this evening after hitting a bump, nothing big either. It sheared off the lower mount to the axle. Great timing, it is a long weekend here in Canada and I have to drive down to Myrtle Beach on Wednesday. Figures. Dumb luck.- bnicov

'06 starts, idles rough and dies
First real problem with my expedition. Its an '06 Ltd. It will start, run rough then sputter and die. If I give it throttle, it dies. I am thinking fuel pump but if anyone has any other ideas....- bnicov

DVD screen loose
The DVD screen on my new to me '06 ltd is loose. When I hit some bumps, the screen pops out. Is there any fix for it other than replacement?? Thanks!!- bnicov

'06 and '07 5.4 Compatibility
Are the '06 and '07 engines compatible/interchangeable?? I am looking at an '06 that needs an engine and have found an '07 engine that I will replace the cam phasers on since it is out. Thanks!!- bnicov

New Guy
Hey all!! I am looking at getting a 2nd Gen. A deal for a King Ranch fell through but I am working on an '06 Ltd. I have been educating myself on FoMoCo since it has been 20 yrs since I had a 5-0 mustang that won one or two races in it's day. Will keep you posted.- bnicov
