Yes I have a scan tool. #8 is the primary cylinder that shows up the most, but #3 will pop up sometimes and it will say random misfire. It is not using any oil just a bad miss. I have changed the coil pack and spark plug, still no change.

Yes I can read diagrams and I do have a meter. I'm 50 years old , owned several race cars and my own trucking company back in the 80's I'm not being a smart??? just giving you some background info on me. I havent had this problem before on any of my vehicles. Any help is appreciated.
