    Positive Battery Pole Corrosion

    I have found the best way to eliminate battery corrosion is a good coating of synthetic lithium grease on the terminal and connector after you make the connection and tighten it down. Since I started this practice I have been corrosion free for years and years. Very simple and maintenance free.

    Just curious on the engine you have. I know the 3 valve's had an issue with the cam phaser's right around that year. Just a shot in the dark, but something to consider having checked before just throwing money at it. Hope you figure it out!

    I purchased these from Amazon and couldn't be happier. I think the ride is better than OEM. It's not harsh at all, yet handles great.

    If you have tested all the other doors and have installed a new door switch that should have taken care of it. If you are still having an issue, then it may something else. That would be beyond my amateur mechanical skills. I wish you the best of luck!

    I had this with an old Mercury Marquis is used to have. My mechanic hooked up and told me the code in a couple minutes for free. The Ford Dealer wanted $50 to give me the code. If you have a good mechanic, give him a call.

I have a theory that my 15 year old vehicle has weatherstripping around the door that has basically flattened and does not create the cushioned seal which originally kept the does from rattling.     Wierd noise while driving

    If it wasn't so loud, I would theorize front wheel bearings. But that growl seems pretty loud, almost like a shudder/vibration. Can't wait to hear what this is.
