I put two full size APC rack server enclosures inside mine and was able to close it. Tight fit but man its nice when you are moving server gear from location to location.
I think mine was related to a broken ground wire in the switch for the top glass. Basically the system thought the top glass was open and it wouldn't run the motor. Just like if you open the hatch it parks. That is something else to check for. I fixed mine when I replaced fixed the cables to...
Parting out the Expedition that I had been working on and was subsequently wrecked. Everything inside the vehicle is in great shape. Mirrors are fine and work with turn signals and heat. Seats are in really good shape and most of the plastics are in good condition. I have a few new parts...
So I have pretty much decided that I don't have the energy in me to do a swap like that. Just way to much work. With that said....if anyone needs parts. I have a DOA 2000 EB sitting in my driveway. I think I'm just going to pull the engine and sell it. its basically broken in. New intake...
So I looked at the manual I got online and it shows the rear suspension with springs. Shows the spring insulator assembly. My question is I currently have a 3.55 limited slip differential in the wrecked Expy. The body I'm looking at has a 3.31 open differential (I think based on the door...
used ETIS and it comes up as a C-Max 2007-2010. Seems to get the engine, tranny and gear ratio right but the vehicle is wrong.
I also assume Less Rear Axle Limited Slip Diff that it does NOT have a limited slip differential.
So as you may know my 2000 EB was wrecked and the from frame is toast. Not worth trying to fix its bent 45 degrees. Found a guy locally who has a 2002 EB that he was haivng work done on and someone stole the engine and transmission. I'm trying to decode what it was. So far I see its a 4R70...
He wasn't speeding. Its pretty obvious the lady that hit him had to be or simply wasn't paying attention. I live on this road and there are accidents there quite a bit. At 20 MPH I could have been just about right on him, seen him and stopped in plenty of time. Its clear to me that this...
Definitely a little rust in the area around the radiator but seeing both sides of the frame bent sideways. The entire engine compartment is skewed. The overhead shot is an idea. the bottom of the picture should be pretty close to straight across.
It was a side hit, but I'm telling you the front end of the frame is moved 4" or more. I'm a little worried about the engine since the AC stuff is press edup against it and the fan is logged in the housing. Coolant leaked out but none of the hoses seemed broken and the radiator doesn't seem...
So my son was in an accident in the expy today. Hit on the front just in front of the passengers side wheel. Frame is bent. Posted speed limit is 20mph on this road. Just cannot believe the amount of damage to this vehicle as well as the bent frame if she was driving the speed limit...
There is several ways to mod that radio and add a jack. while the cost may be less the time portion of it is likely more. I was opting for a head unit that basically brought the vehicle up to modern stardards for very little effort which is why I toss it out there. The VX7022 is 268 on Amazon...
There is several adapters you can get to make this happen that go in between the disk changer and the head unit. I think the biggest thing I ran into was you need to put a blank CD in the changer for it to enable the head unit in CD mode. After the cost of the adapters and what not I simply...
I had a problem with my Mazda 6s drains plugging and leaking. What I found to be the best method for clearing it was to get the drain that came through the firewall and attach my vacuum pump with the brake fluid resivior. I was able to apply vacuum and draw the crap through. Adding warm water.
Did this occur after an oil change? Not sure if your year model is the same as mine but I have this little drain redirector deal under the oil filter Catches the oil and redirects it to where it can be caught in an oil pan. When I pulled the motor EVERYTHING was coated in oil and dirt so I...
