Tierod / Lower Ball Joint Replacment Costs?
I see labor times as follows: Inner and outer tie rods - both sides = 1.8hrs Lower ball joint - both sides = 3.3hrs Alignment = 2hrs Total = 7.1hrs Your local shop labor rates may vary, but I would imagine it to be around $1,000 in labor costs alone.- MrBlargMan

I found this part explosion in the factory Ford workshop manual. It looks like as long as you buy the straps, I don't really see a reason why the 2005-2006 skid wouldn't work. I currently do not have a fuel tank skid plate on my rig as the FX4 fuel tank skids are discontinued. The skid that you just posted has peaked my curiosity, though. I will look into it further when I have some time.- MrBlargMan

I am honestly not sure of what changes (if any) that were made to the fuel tanks or mounting straps on the 2005-2006 tanks vs the 2003-2004 tanks. Deepest snow you drove through for some distance

Skid Plates!
Thanks! It was originally a Calinfornia vehicle. Has been in Colorado under my ownership for the last 4 years now. The paint on the roof is shot and the hood is starting to go, but she is definitely rust free! It is so huge with the lift and the 35" mud terrains, you never see the roof anyway...- MrBlargMan

Yes. You can run 35x12.5x17 on stock spec wheels with the 3.5"/2.5" lift. You will need to remove your running boards and trim about a half inch off of the lower corner of the front valance. Easy Peasy. Have been running my 35's for years. No rubbing. Zero issues.- MrBlargMan

Ground Clearance
The suspension spacer lifts on these do increase differential ground clearance by increasing the static angle of the suspension. Add larger diameter tires and you get even more. vacuum leak
Yes. The PCM is dumping as much fuel as it can to compensate, and it is still not enough. Thus your lean codes. Based on those fuel trims, you either have way low fuel pressure, or there is definitely a vacuum leak. If your EVAP purge valve is hissing, replace it. It should not be doing that.- MrBlargMan

I have the 3.5 / 2.5 kit on mine. I have been running 315/75R17 (35x12.5x17) for around 4 years now, on and off road on 17x7.5 wheels, stock offset. I have had zero issues what so ever.- MrBlargMan
