A compression test would be worth doing. It could be possible that something fell in the cylinder while changing the intake mainifold.

Thanks for posting this. It was on my list to fix this spring. It is one of my pet peeves of my truck. When someone else drives it and lowers the window, they do not grab the window when it goes up to and the window pops out of the track. I will try the lubrication trick.

I have had old Craftsman beam type and Harbor Freight clickers. The Harbor Freight was very hard to read. I know have a range of Tekton clickers. They come with a nice case and much easier to read.
