My 2004 with tow package came with the towing relay or relays and a fuse in a bag uninstalled. I found the bag in the jack compartment with instructions to install. Perhaps it was a practice they continued through 2007.,
There is only one ac compressor for both front and rear. I'm pretty sure its still pully driven. The engine has to be running. Solar panels won't help.
I used the Metra 70-5520AV wire harness. It will power the DVD and allow you to listen to it through the new stereo but you won't be able to control it from the front anymore.
Thank you chuck s & LokiWolf for the info.
My dealer parts dept. said it was about $135 but I neglected to ask what version they had as I wasn't ready to purchase it.
Just curious. Does anyone have Navigation maps more current than "NA 1 15"? Thats what my 2017 came with.
I don't mean to hijack. Should this be its own thread?
I had a 2004 EB until very recently. Just program both memory settings to the same position and the seats won't move. Just for the record though, if the battery and charging system are working correctly there's nothing to worry about. I never disabled mine and the truck started every time in...
Even with the heavy duty tow package, the only way to achieve the max tow rating is with a weight distributing hitch. otherwise the max is about 6000 lbs.
Plastic rivets and the tool to use them are inexpensive at the auto store. I had a rivet give way years ago and the replacement rivet is still doing its job.
Air somewhere in the system perhaps. Engine gets hot and sucks in coolant, cools off and it refills overflow? If it was leaking the overflow wouldn't refill. Does the radiator also have a cap to check when cold?
Pepboys sells a rebranded sportrack for about $100 less. The direction sheet is Sportsrack and the pepboys sticker comes right off.

The weight of passengers and cargo in the truck needs to be considered. It gets subtracted from either max trailer weight or tongue weight. I forget but someone will correct me.
I have them and I wouldn't buy them again. They aren't any better than stock. I'm on my second set of powerstop rotors up front. I thought the first set warped somehow so I replaced them. What I thought was warped was the plating coming off the rotors in chunks. My 2 cents.
