    2011 Expedition lift options

Just got home from having the struts and pucks put on. I went with the Bilstein 5100 for the F150 and 2.5" setting. Rear has 2" pucks. It sits PERFECT. Not to brodozer raked in the front. I was concerned that the ride would be stiffer, it is actually an improvement from stock. I would call...

    front shocks compatible with F-150??

No problem. Just got my struts and tires installed. Highly recommend the Bilstein 5100 setup. It's an economical option. I was looking it Coil overs but pricey. Also, if you are doing a kit fro the 3rd Gen, look for the thread about it. Rize gave up on the 3rd gen lift because they kept...

    front shocks compatible with F-150??

The F150 Bilstein 5100 load leveling strut is 1" longer shock body and shaft. I believe its do to the different design of the lower A arm. At least from what I've read and gathered. So a stock shock for the F150 should be the same 1" longer, compared to the Expedition at 1" shorter*. 2011...

    2011 Expedition lift options

Nice truck! I think 33" it is. I went with the 5100 f150 adjustables for the front. The back has the 4600 bilsteins and about to install the 2.0 rear pucks. So 2.5 front and 2.0 rear. Stuck on 20" or 17" rims now. This is pita. 33" seem a bit better of a size choice for now.

    Spark Plug Replacement 2011 Expedition

The problem with anti-sieze is it can leak down onto the electrode and foul the plug. That's why most don't use it.

Question regarding F150 Bilstein adjustables on Expi Gen 3.

For those who are running them, would a 2" leveling puck in the rear be to high for the 2.5" setting for the front? Thank you.

    Question on plugs/cop costs

Ebay has cops for under $100 for the set of 8. Everything i've read, says they are gtg. Some people with over 80k on them already. Try a local mechanic and see what he says, you might save some money on the repairs.

    Easy Safe Leveling for Expedition

Necro bump. Anyone else running these Bilsteins? If so, does it bottom the shock out before the bump stops, because of the slight length difference of the F150 strut?

    2011 Expedition lift options

Spoke to a few places and was told the F150 Bilstein load levelers are not valved for the difference in weight between the F150 and Expedition.

    2011 Expedition lift options

There is a bit of good information on here and some that is convoluted. I have read most all of them, and understand every application, truck, and owner is different. What I'm trying to achieve is a slighty more performance minded lift. I do go to the desert and bumpy fire roads etc. This is...
