Acceleration non existent and high RPM's
Pretty straight forward. Not sure if it's a vacuum/hose leak or maybe a transmission issue? Maybe fuel injectors? Spark plugs and ignition coils were changed two months ago with Motorcraft parts off Rockauto, fuel filter changed last year. April 9, 2021 - YouTube Right here worries me...- Dmpsix

I have no idea what's going on anymore
I haven't ran or touched the 2003 5.4 Expedition in roughly 2 years. Changed, o2 sensors, fuel filter, spark plugs, ignition coils, oil and ran some seafoam top engine cleaner. Cleaned out the throttle body, sprayed the MAF sensor and replaced the terminals on the battery. Car has a vacuum...- Dmpsix

2nd Gen vs 3rd Gen
Early 2nd gen had the 2v in their 5.4's Other than that, they're basically all 5.4 3v What are the differences between the two generations? I'm considering getting a 3rd gen. But I'm also considering just getting a remanufactured engine and transmission in my 2nd gen when the time comes.- Dmpsix

Annoying idle issues, might be transmission related?
It's more consistent the more I drive it. ANYTIME the car gets put into park or neutral, it'll rev up to nearly 3k RPM and just stay there until I put it in drive or turn it off. It's definitely a bad thing because the car jerks violently when I have to go from a 3k idle to drive. It causes...- Dmpsix

Got myself a 5.4, now what?
So I just got myself an 03 Eddie Bauer 5.4 Expedition. It's been sitting for at least 2 years and the exterior is in great condition. Other than tires, spark plugs, oil change, antifreeze, and possible tranny fluid change, what else should I look into replacing / fixing? I bought this...- Dmpsix
