    Warranty start date

Situation resolved. I received an email last Friday which stated that my warranty start date had been updated. I waited until today to verify. Called Ford Customer Service and they say my warranty start date is 1/29/2025, which is the day I purchased the vehicle. I don't know why the selling...

    Warranty start date

This is the letter I received via email. I replied on Tuesday asking if it was a Ford warranty or a 3rd party warranty and what would the warranty cover. So far, no response.

    Warranty start date

Two developments: 1. Received an email from a research analyst on the Ford CX/DX team. I assume that "CX" stands for Customer Experience. The analyst wanted some information and copies of the sales documents which I have replied with. Analyst says it could take 7-10 days to resolve the issue...

    Warranty start date

The Ford customer service people I've talked to so far say the dealer has to do that.

    Warranty start date

The vehicle had 3,477 miles on it when I bought it. The story was that the vice president of the dealership corporation (6 dealerships in central Indiana) used it as his personal vehicle. It may have also been used as a demo or loaner. To recap, vehicle was built December 2023, warranty started...

    Warranty start date

Anyone here an expert in Ford warranty policies? I bought a 2024 Expedition on January 29, 2025. It was sold to me as a new vehicle. The invoice and the loan contract say that it was a new vehicle. No mention was made of a different warranty start date. I am now being told by Ford customer...

Welcome to the Ford Expedition forum! I moved your thread to the 4th Gen General Discussion section where it might get more attention from people with direct experience. I had a 2015 XLT (3rd gen) with 4A and 4H. I live in central Indiana where we get snow, but may not have as many hills as...

I was looking at a white 2024 Limited Stealth Performance, but dragged my feet to long and the dealer sold it. Ended up with a Dark Matter one instead. I still like white, though.

5.4 triton vs the 3.5 Ecoboost?

I guess I'll pile on. Bought a used 2002 Expedition with the 5.4 with about 30k miles on it. Solid engine. No issues that I can recall. Average MPG 13.267. Sold it at around 125k miles. Then a 2011 F-150 with the Coyote 5.0. Another solid engine. Squirrels chewed through injector wires. Other...

    2022 Platinum MAX

I was looking for those wheels, then I found these. They were from a 2022 F-150 XLT Lariat. No rear axle shaft modification was required to install the center caps.

just bought 2017 exp with 94K changed oil and trans fluid what else should I do ?

You can look up recalls on the NHTSA website: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls Less horsepower, much less torque, slightly worse fuel economy. I had a 2011 F-150 with the Coyote V8. Nice engine. But after two Expeditions with the 3.5 Ecoboost, I don't think I'd go back to a V8. And, I say that...

Commercial? Ham radio? GMRS? CB? I've had my 2024 Limited for a year and still scratching my head about where to put radios. What do you plan to do for antennas?

    Intro

I put about 100k miles on a 2015 XLT. It was mostly trouble-free. The drivers door window motor failed at around 40k, had to replace spark plugs at around 70k, and one of the O2 sensors failed at around 90k. The O2 sensor situation was a learning experience. CEL illuminated so I checked codes...

    2024 Ford Expediton New Tires

About a month ago, I replaced the General Grabber H/T tires in size 285/45R22 that came on my Limited 304A with a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2 tires (the official name from Michelin's website) in size 275/55R20. I had the new tires installed on a set of 20" F-150 FX4 take-off wheels that I...

22-24 Steering Softened? anybody? Forscan setting?

In my mind, Electronic Limited Slip Differential, like my 2024 Limited has, and Electronic Locking Differential, like the 2025 Tremor has, are two different things. Ford's wording is clear to me.

    First generation XLT

Welcome to the forum! When I sold my 1st gen, a 2002 SSV with about 125k miles, the rear fender lips were rusted through and the rocker panel in the driver's door area was well on its way. It was a casualty of driving on Indiana roads in the winter.
