    Look at the height I got out of my 3" Strut spacer and new struts. Is it me or did I somehow get 5 to 6 inches total? When I look at other pics of 3 inch lifted expys mine seems taller.

    Went back and looked at options at AM- auto and also called ford, no difference in parts # between 4x4 and 2x4 and spacer measured 1 7/8. Got to be the control arms or spindle that's different in 4x4 and 2x4.

    when I removed the relaxed front strut and compared it to the new strut it was 2 inches shorter. I measured the new height to be around 5 inches taller. I may be mistaken about the 4x4 struts being taller vrs the 2 wheel drive but the numbers show i gained 5....look at my pictures. lol.

    I had issues with my power liftgate 2011 el xlt it was the shock supports on the sides it keeps closing on me as soon as it opened. If it's not even opening under power and it is staying open manually then that's not your issue. It's either the switch to the liftgate motor or the mechanism...

    I have the A1auto mirrors also they work great and have not had an issue except they sent only 1 the first time but then sent me the pair. I complained the first one the box was trashed and looked as if it was scuffed a little...they told me to keep it. You can buy aftermarket chrome covers that...

    I don't know if anyone caught this but I also have aftermarket side mirrors that extend and have puddle lights. The look fits with the vehicle and also keeps people from parking to close....I extend them in parking lots not to be mean but to keep dings away...lol

    I have the 3 inch lift and the online company I bout my complete strut assembly sent 4 wheel drive struts that added 2 inches. It really to tall and torqing my ball joint.

    So what your saying is you don't have a power liftgate, its manual and the handle that releases the liftgate is broken so you need to reach inside and manually open. Can you not just get a new handle or pressure switch for the handle to remedy? Try looking on fordparts.com go to your vehicle...
