Another 17 Expy Platinum - bulb question
I did a HID conversion on the cheap years back for my 2017 Limited and they have worked out quite well in the projector housing that these come with. I just did these for the low beams due to the ballast and used cheap LEDs for the high beams since they were compact and I really don't use them...- skinny8021

Safety Recall 22S56 - 2015-2017 Expedition/Navigator - January 16, 2014 thru June 30, 2017 Build Dates - Climate Control Blower Motor Replacement
I was able to get my blower motor replaced today after calling a few times to finally get an appointment. Took about a half day to get the truck back and so far so good. The old part was Made in Brazil and the new one surprisingly is Made in USA.- skinny8021

Luckily I haven't had any issues with mine so far, but now I am curious so I am going to let it warm up and check the temps to see if there are any hotspots near the resistor. I pulled the connector and the pins all look clean with no sign of heat damage so at least for the most part it seems...- skinny8021

I got my updated notice today and called my dealership about getting the motor replaced and they shut it down with "it is on backorder" with no ETA. I asked to be put on a list or at least have them call me when it comes in and that was just too much for them to handle and was told to just call...- skinny8021

Transmission Fluid change
Changing the transmission fluid on these isn't too bad, but is definitely easier if you have access to a lift since there is no drain plug on the pan. I used a vacuum pump through the dipstick hole to lower the level before dropping the pan and it went fairly smoothly for me. The dipstick is...- skinny8021
