    I did find where I can enable the DRL function via FORSCAN but that doesn't give me the ability to turn them off without putting the vehicle in park. I pass through a security gate weekly and they want headlights of so they can see occupants inside the vehicle.

    Well, today I discovered that my DRL's are headlight only. All lights were on when I first enabled DRl but I saw the reflection in someone's tailgate and after checking, I found that only the headlights were on. Thought I'd update in case someone was in interested.

    I just did the same thing on my 08 LTD. There was only the option to "enable" or "disable", no choice between fog or headlights. Now they are enabled but it turns on ALL lights, parking and tail, with headlights at a dimmer setting.

    I had to go digging for the specs as it's been about three years. Mine is the Pioneer FH-X830BHS and is listed at 11dBf. I really don't know how good or bad that is but my reception was actually better with OEM 6 disc unit that died.
