    This switch fell apart in the door and I had to take the panel off to get the parts. I glue it back together with super glue but I'm afraid it will fall apart again. Looked on Amazon but didn't know what it's called to search for one.

    I had the same problum with my 2000 expedition found out it was the radio. I put an aftermarket radio in and it has a wire hooked to 12V on all the time to keep the time and radio station stored. About 3 days of not driving it and the battery is dead.

    Check your fuel pressure. Maybe your getting enough fuel pressure when the tank is full but not enough when it's at 1/2 a tank.

    I see you replaced the pump last year. I would check for vacuum leaks. The PVC hose going to the Throttle body goes bad and is hard to see.

    It's probably not the valve but the hose that's the problem. Amazon has them for $30.00 part number XL3Z-6C324-GA and it also comes with a new PVC valve too. you can find a new rubber grommet at Autozone for a few bucks.

    I think that the problem the float is hanging up and not going all the way up. I just put a new pump in mine and the gauge wouldn't read at all turned out the wire to the sending was not soldered on.

    You need to check for 4WD or 2WD also Standard Suspension or Auto Adjustable Suspension If it's only the pump look to see if you can take the old pump off and put the new pump and strainer on the old hanger.

    My pressure was running low right at 20PSI I don't know what the pressure is now because I needed to take the pressure gauge back to Autozone to be able to buy the new pump. They make you buy the gauge set for $150.00 and give you your money back when you return it. I'm going to work on it today...

    The fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel rail on the left side of the engine. I don't need to replace it the truck runs great now a lot more power then before. But I will need to drop the tank to get to the sending unit. Dropping the tank won't be as bad because I know what to do now.

    Check the fuel pressure it may be the fuel pump or the fuel filter. You can check Autozone for lend-a-tool for a pressure gauge They charged me $150.00 plus tax but you get all your money back when you bring the gauge back. Mine was 20 PSI and it should be 30 to 40 PSI.
