Front heat not working

Need opinions on 2014 and 2015
I have a 2014 EL LTD with 106K on it now. I bought it in 2019 with 80K, had a 5 year Ford extended warranty, and all is good. Under warranty, I had a few things done, like both front hubs, a couple window motors, and some misc stuff. I pretty much broke even on the extended, but peace of mind...- Jamo

Lower Running Boards
With mine deployed, there's about 6" between the top of the step and the rocker. The step top is about 11" from the ground. Mine is a 2014 EL LTD with stock height. Mine are pretty much fixed as well, never got to them this summer to free them up...- Jamo

2010 Expedition Rear AC Line Leak
When I bought my 2014 EL LTD from a dealer 4.5 years ago, the rear lines were leaking. They fixed it under their used car warranty. This past year, it started leaking again and I lost all A/C...again. I had my wrench nephew cut and cap the lines to the rear and recharge the system. Cost me...- Jamo

Your hatch won't close??? I can fit 4 x 8 plywood in my 2014 EL LTD with no trouble, and close the hatch. Maybe your front seats are all the way back?- Jamo

Deciding between selling or trading in
I have a '14 EL LTD, and I would hate to part with it as well. I'm just over 100K and have no plans to sell. I think I would look into a smaller hybrid with gas/electric drivetrain for work, and keep the Expedition for real travel. I'm not comfortable driving those tiny little shitboxes, but...- Jamo

Do you have a heated garage? I don't, and I live in salt country too, but I have heard that heated garages let the ice melt and the salt does more damage than leaving stuff outside and frozen. Buying a 3rd gen, what year is best?
I bought my '14 EL LTD 4 years ago with 80,000 miles. It's been good to me, I keep up with oil changes and such as recommended. I bought the extended warranty, mid level from Ford, 4 year/36,000 miles. Each visit cost $100 regardless of how many fixes and I told them next time they see it...- Jamo

I've been up Mt. Washington on my Harley Road King and I say just the opposite. Bikers have to watch out for the SUV's whipping around the corners. Shocks or Struts
I just got my Expedition back from the dealer and it's like a new truck. My shocks (struts) were worse than I thought. Anyway, I measured height on all four openings on level ground. Before was 35" on all. After is 36" on all. Now I'm going to check them once in a (great) while...- Jamo
