Just start with the plugs. The coils are expensive and the Ford parts guy at my local dealer told me they rarely replace those. I had same exact experience as you on my 2016 and new plugs solved it.
I had a water pump go at 105k. Presented as a slowly disappearing coolant and then just completely let go in in the driveway one night. It was a 2 hour job and $160 bucks for the part. I also did the blower resistor and spark plugs twice now.

One of the wires was melted and I spliced this in and have had no issues since. I did not replace the resistor.
I have a pair of these on my roof with the factory crossbars, but it would be no problem to do 3. More than $300 bucks though!

You got a link to messed up f150 threads? I have unscrewed mine to find it full a few times and worried about what would happen if not emptied in time.
I had exact same symptoms as you in my 2016. I was given the advice to swap the coil from the misfiring cyclinder to another and see if the misfire followed it, but to go ahead and replace all the plugs and boots. I did this and no more issues. I had replaced plugs at 45k simply for maintenance...
The wpt 688 is what i ordered on amazon for my 2016 xlt 2wd. Quick glance looks like the YH 1829 is the resistor and I did not replace that. I only cut off the old wire harness and crimped the new one on.
I have a 16 with 93k. My heater core was making a gurgling sound behind the dash when starting the engine and I found the coolant to be low. I put in almost a gallon, but show no signs of leaking anywhere. I have just been topping it off with about half a quart once a month when I dump my oil can.
When I crank up my 2016 Expidition, lately I have noticed a water sloshing / gurgle sound coming from behind the dash sometimes. It lasts for ~1 second. Not sure if it happens everytime though
, wife drives it most of the time but she hasn't said anyhting. Have not noticed any other effects, but...
I run 40psi in 18" michelin primacy XC on 2016 EL. No additional load. At highway speeds with 35psi, I feel like the sidewall flexes too much and the truck sways more than I like when changing lanes.
