replaced my blower motor connector and the resistor. Fan is stuck on high only. Blower motor worked fine at all speeds prior to the blower motor connector getting hot
2009 Expedition Limited. The AC blower motor just stopped one day. I noticed a odor like hot wires. I checked the blower motor resistor connector. One wire to it had gotten really hot and actually burned a hole in the casing of the connector. I went to pull-apart and bought another connector...

When I replaced mine, you set the new one in place turn the key on and adjust the temperature up or down until the actuator lines up and falls into place.
I'll be replacing the cables next.
I'm still really curious about why I lost power to all of the power outlets except the one by the liftgate. Pain at the same time the air conditioning stopped working. The compressor is good it's fully charged none of the fuses are blown and I've also checked...
Thanks for both replies. Replaced the battery with the factory recommend one. Also the positive battery terminal end was broken.... thin metal end. Replaced it also. Both battery cables and battery are good to go
Absolutely cleaning battery terminals today. It's not a maintenance free battery. I bought this about 2 years ago. I will also put a new battery in it today.
So last night I pulled my 2009 Expedition Limited 2wd into my driveway, put it in park and turned it off.
I noticed that the headlights went off and the interior lights did not come on when I killed the engine. Everything was dead as if I had removed the battery. No lights, ignition, horn...
I really appreciate the information. So even though the off the shelf can with a gauge said it was 100psi+, most likely it wasn't? I can charge it back to where it was in the morning
I appreciate the input. My question is if the evaporator coils are building condensation and it's dripping doesn't that mean the compressor is running correctly? Additionally when I turn the air conditioner on and off inside the vehicle when it comes on I do not hear the click of the compressor...
Dropping in the front and rear as it should. Rear actuator needs to be replaced (clicking). I replaced the front one several months ago. Lost most of the skin on my knuckles in the process. Have had zero issues until this trip. Checked the freon pressure with a off the shelf freon refill kit...
I did check the cell chargers. All work as they should with lights coming on. Tried them on other cars.
Yes I understand wiring diagrams.
I appreciate all the help
2009 Expedition Limited 2wd.
AC worked fine. Suddenly it's not cold. Checked freon, it's good. Checked compressor fuses. All show good. Fan blows as it should. Digital temp display all works normally adjusting temp up & down. Replaced climate controll actuator in front dash 9 months ago due to...
Cell phone chargers (all that have a light that comes in as soon as it's plugged in) tried several different ones into all the outlets. Also tried a dc/ac inverter that I know works.
I apologize. It's a 2009 Limited 2wd.
I checked all the power fuses. They all looked good. But since I didn't have a meter to test the continuity incas3 the break was non-visable, I replaced them all with new ones. I'm traveling for work so I have no tools with me.
