Did a 1700 mile overland trip leaving home in Denver stayed overnight in Santa Fe NM, spent a few days in Sedona AZ and only one night in Moab and home. The Expedition was flawless! Other than our dog getting into a skunk was a perfect trip!
I put a video together of my Moab trip before Covid, we ran Hell's Revenge and it was a very amazing trail. The Expedition did so well. Not a very good video but this is my first one so enjoy!
I may just take the bar off. I ran my Explorer that way for years and because I’m old I don’t drive too fast and never had an issue. I looked at using a link from a new Ford that has a ball joints instead of the factory straight style. Then I was thinking I could cut the shaft and put a collar...
I signed up for that trip, looks like fun!
Did a run up to Bill Moore Lake. Big Red did great, the front sway bar is still connected and there is still 2" more up travel left on the driver side.
It's been some time since I posted. I built a rear bumper and am pretty happy with how it turned out. Now to paint the rock sliders black. Next roof rack...
Unbelievably well! The diffs worked well and had clearance to spare. We slept in the back and were comfy. I'll post some videos soon. The best thing is the looks I got from the "Jeep" guys.
