    I’m going through the same thing at the moment. I went to Walmart and got a cheap drill and wire wheel, spent a lot of time taking the rust off the bottom and after all metal places were metal again and not surface rust I painted back over it with rustolem primer and then rustolem black paint

    So I tried the sea foam and it really actually helped out a lot. It restored a lot of the take off power but it still feels a little sluggish so maybe one more can of that after the next oil change, also after I get my exhaust and intake put on it will probably be a beast

    Man that lacquer thinner is a great idea! I’m gonna try that next week see if that helps. The truck drives great I average 11.9 mpg in the country and 15.6 on the highway but take off is slow and staggered at times. It makes me think of a runner with a parachute on his back

    I spoke with a friend of mine and he agreed that could be the problem so I think next week sometime I’m just gonna drop the cats and do straights with a thrush welded muffler. If anybody else has done this set up it would be great to know how it worked out
