Any 30'+ Travel Trailer owners out there?

I usually don't tow with water in the tank. 1000lb tongue weight it's without water. I will tow with water (just a few gallons) only on long trips for bathroom emergencies...

Any 30'+ Travel Trailer owners out there?

I tow a Sunset Trail 270bh with an overall length of 31'11" and a GVWR of 7600lbs with my 2017 EL Limited with HD towing. I went on the scale last year and the trailer axles weighted 6600lbs. I'm an idiot...

I tow a 7000lbs loaded TT with wy 2017 EL Limited and it's way better than my previous 2016 F150 lariat was. Went at the scale and I'm right at the rear axle limit. Total weight in the Expy is somewhere around 650lbs but my tongue weight is arround 1000lbs. The tongue weight is the important...

How much are you towing? Looking at a new TT...

We made our first camping trip with the Expy last week-end. In one word, wow. It's my third truck in 4 years towing the same 2015 Sunset trail 27bh and it's the best so far. Really stable. I had the same WDH Equalizer on the 3 setup. Trailer specs are: 30'11" overall length, 5600 dry weight and...

    Camper weight

I tow a 31 feet overall travel trailer with a ready to camp weight of 6500lbs. Our 17 Max ( EL) tow it better than the 2016 F150 I traded in. I Haven't use the DOT scale yet but Im pretty sure I'm near the limit of the rear axle. I wouldn't tow a 9000lbs trailer with it...

    Plastidip wheels

You can always peel it off. I peeled the 2 years old Plasti on my 2016 F150 before returning it without to much probelm. Just be sure to lay down enough coats of Dip, the more you put, the easier it will be to remove.
