And now Waze is available through Apple Car Play too. It’s much more stable than using it through Ford Apps. For me Waze is the only nav for me.- DogDad

Song/Artist info on driver instrument display?
Would be nice to have, but would rarely use it. My last few GM vehicles had it. The only time I would use it was if I was using navigation on the head unit.- DogDad

The Waze update is out, who is using it instead of the native navigation?
You can still listen to your music and podcasts through Ford’s Sync system, just not in CarPay mode. It may be a moot point soon anyway. Rumor has it Waze will be available on CarPlay with next major iOS release.- DogDad

The Waze update is out, who is using it instead of the native navigation?
You have to disable car play off in settings. 1. On your iPhone, open the latest version of Waze. 2. Disable Apple CarPlay because SYNC 3 AppLink and Apple CarPlay cannot run simultaneously. SYNC 3 will remember this setting and Apple CarPlay will remain disabled until you activate it again...- DogDad

Ventilated seats VS cooled
Not sure of your references as this is my first Ford in a while. It seems to go against logic that cooled seats don’t cool as well as just ventilated seats...unless fan speed/air volume is higher with just ventilation.- DogDad

The Waze update is out, who is using it instead of the native navigation?
I use iPhone and Waze works okay on the Expy. You need latest Sync version and it is NOT through CarPlay. Activate Waze on your phone then plug phone in. You will then have option to use Waze or Ford’s nav. On occasion it gets a little finicky, but I’m sure it will get better with updates.- DogDad

Surprised you couldn’t negotiate! Your offer was definitely tilted in their favor if you ask me. Fortunately I qualify for X plan with Ford and GM Supplier Discount for GM so I really never negotiate. I always get a good deal without the hassle, though sometimes better deals can be made. 4WD Failure in sand (hill assist/descent faults warnings)
