    Pay attention to the pads some sets have an inner and outer. One set (I can't remember which) has two raised locating nipples. Depends on manufacturer, some have them some don't . Otherwise they are identical.

    Some break pads (depends on manufacture I think.) have an Inboard and outboard pad. They look almost identical, can't remember which, but one set has raised locating pins (Is possible newer versions of pads don't have this).

    I bought spot sand blaster from Harbor Freight, taped off, blasted till clean, painted, only time will tell, has been almost a year and no bubbling.

    AC Smell

    As far as outside smells check for trans fluid leak at bulkhead connector,is a very slight leak right on exhaust, just enough to smell not enough to show on ground. Interior could be blower motor resistor front or rear getting hot, ours smelled like (and this is going to sound funny) fresh band-aid.

    Here are pictures most difficult is making hole bigger in plenum, I had already modified it when I made my own module out of ballast resistors, which didn't work any longer than stock. The resistor is cooled by the air passing over it. It doesn't seem it can dissipate enough heat being flat.
