Odd 4WD problem
I've had an odd 4WD problem... when I set the Expy to 4WD (not AWD), The system slams like I just ran over a 4x4 post every 30 yards. Or like I drove over the Mother Of All Expansion Joints. Is my transfer case slipping a tooth? If so, why not in AWD? I haven't taken her to a shop yet, I wanted...- Terence S Maguire

After replacing UCA, bounces and wallows down the road
I have the same type as shown by Vancouver Bob. Yes, the sway bar link is connected. What I'm referring to is on the rubber iso-mounts on the UCA, there are 3 sets of raised rubber crescents... I'm thinking that since I set it high to make it easier to attach to the aluminum whatever it is...- Terence S Maguire

I have a 2004 Expedition XL 4x4 with the 4.6l V8 and 197K on the clock. The suspension sounded like an old buckboard wagon, creaking and groaning.I tore it down last weekend, replacing the 4wd hub, the sway arm link, the lower ball joint, and the upper control arm. The noise is gone! No longer...- Terence S Maguire
