a 2009 Forest River Cherokee 27BH. My '13 Expy is equipped with the HD Towing Pkg, which at 9000 lbs GVWR provides me with a 1100 lb surplus given this TT has a GVWR of 7927 lbs. Why is a hunk of metal referred to as ‘she’?
Many years ago, a reporter asked FADM Halsey why a Naval warship was referred to as ‘she’. Admiral Halsey answered as follows: “A ship is referred to as ‘she’ because it costs so much in upkeep and effort to keep her looking pretty”. Splendid answer BTW.
