    And there is the problem. When you flush you have a huge chance of a leak. Especially if it has never been changed. You can do the flush and if you get a leak then you would have to bypass the heater core. But you would have no heat, no defrost at all. At least you have some heat now...

    More than likely the heater core is getting clogged up on the inside. You could flush it but you take a chance on springing a leak. Changing out the heater core is a major undertaking. Welcome to the forum

    @Eightiesrock80 ^THIS^ There is a weep hole in the housing of the coolant pump. It Leaks out of there when the pump is getting ready to go bad.

    Have you tried to put a in-line noise reduction ground loop on the power wire to the CB? that should take care of your problem, or at least reduce it significantly. Can't believe no one has mentioned this yet.
