    I’ve though the same thing. I’m a tall guy too and have noticed how it seems to be pointed right up at my face when I look over my shoulder. I have tried dimming the light, but it does not solve the problem. I’ve thought about coating it with a dab of the wife’s nail polish to try and tint it.

    I feel that possibly one of my doors is not aligned, but I also feel it might be just a slightly crooked trim piece. Are there any pre/ post alignment photos anyone can provide? Also was it just a visual thing or were there extra closing noises observed to let y’all know about the misalignment?

    That is a great idea. I had a similar mount in my previous vehicle. The only thing that would stop me from doing this is that the wireless charger does not work with the metal plate on the back of your phone and I use the wireless charger a lot.
