    LED surround lights now purple, were white. What's wrong?

    I've noticed a lot of LED streetlights in my area have done the same. I asked about it from local authorities in charge of streetlights and was told its a manufacturer defect. Its cool if you like purple.

    Strange things are happening

    Heated seats are ok but i havent found them to be a replacement for a large engine. We're supposed to be warming up to -10 this week. The 5.4 V8 seems to still be able to keep the interior cooking at -40, which im not used to after having a focus for 11 years.

    Gimmick. It probably is based on a very dumbed down interpretation of the data from the applicable sensors, but the screen refresh rate wouldnt be fast enough to show anything useful.

    2012 Expedition Running Boards Issue

    A wash and WD-40 worked on my '14 driver side running board for the past month. So far it works without help again. Before it would try a little, stop and go back down. Will try the motorcycle lube another poster mentioned if WD-40 doesn't cut it.

    My bet is that those component temps are exactly what they are supposed to be at -40C. Honda, Ford, Chrysler, and others all do/have done extensive cold weather testing in Thompson Manitoba.

    I ran full synthetic in my Ford Focus from new for eleven years. I only put 156000km on it til i sold it a few weeks ago. Never had any starting problems (other than dead batteries) even when it sat at -30C for days. i plan on putting full synthetic in my new to me Expedition. A quick survey...
