I am using the frame and drivetrain from rusted out 04 XLT for a Rat rod project. I removed alot of stuff and now cannot get the expedition to start. I have removed the back half of the body and the floor up to the front seats. The roof is gone so basically it is just a frame and the front end...
Has anyone tried to clean up the mess of vacuum hoses? I have a couple of bad ones and it seems that the routing of them is a bit silly.
Just curious if anyone has any tips for cleaning up the rats nest.

I have a 2004 Expedition XLT that when I drive it drives fine, shifts all gears, runs great for a period of time. The amount of time does not seem to matter sometimes it makes it 15...
I just acquired an expedition with this problem. It works perfectly in 1st and 2nd but doesn’t shift to 3rd. If I unplug all the sensors it locks in Third and can be driven at highway speeds.
Anyone have any ideas what would cause this.
