    My '16 does that as well when the transmission is cold. Once it warms up it stops. I assume it is the torque converter not liking cold oil.

    Most police departments run a specialized console with controls for lights, computers etc. which they can use over and over so they either remove the stock one or dont have them to begin with.

    That is correct, 5.4 vs 3.5. Looking at parts diagrams seems like the mid section of the exhaust is the same. The section between the headers and tailpipe. The hanger at the axle looks to be in the same spot. The issue I see is if the pipe diameter is bigger on one.

    I have not used the pad replacement, but I am planning on refinishing mine with bedliner. Thinking of using the diy kit type that rolls on. It will help protect them and add traction to the mix.
