    Amazon...enter your paint code...buy...paint...add a smidge of clear coat...be done with it. It may not be 100% perfect doing it yourself, but better than seeing the scratch. Or...remove that piece and put a ball mount in there. Problemo solved!

    I keep my fob in the charging pit, use the keypad on door for all locking/unlocking needs. Spare key hangs in the kitchen for remote start cold-ass mornings.

    That quote is for a 2WD...(rear-wheel drive). Why anyone would buy one of these without 4WD escapes me. The 4WD are better in safety tests than the 2WD versions, plus you can simply do more. Let me track down some stats.

    Battery. You bought a "new" vehicle after it's been sitting for 16 months or so. Could be a loose ground wire, but start with a fresh battery. Just my two cents.

    My kick sensors must get too much mud or something...worked once at the dealer. I am happy not to get the surprise smack...and prefer the Gen 3 version of the button. Just personal preference.

    I prefer the interior mounted one with its delay. I can leave the last six pack in there...reach in, hit the button, remove six pack, and be clear before she starts closing. Now I have to have everything in order/in arms before reaching up for the button...not the easiest thing with two...

    Gen 4 has the hatch button on the bottom lip of the hatch itself, not inside the rear like earlier Gens. And...Gen 4 doesn't have the same delay as Gen 3.

    Mine would do this - particularly at the front, sharp angle by the wheel well - when I'd back into 5-foot high snow piles a few months ago. When I happened to notice, I'd just smack 'em back into place.
