Michigan residents - registration renewal cost

So, even in your meandering example, the taxes collected are nowhere near original purchase price? And I'm not sure what fairness have to do with it? By what definition would it be fair?

Michigan residents - registration renewal cost

It is highly unlikely that the tax revenue generated from the sale of a vehicle will generate more revenue than it's original sale price, in fact I think it's pretty much impossible.

    > communist state Literally not a thing. But also, it's just another metric of raising money for the state government. Not like its helped the UP much, shockingly.

Lincoln HP vs Exp Hp upgrade

    It appears the compression ratio is different. Navigator/Raptor - 10.0:1 Expedition/F150 - 10.5:1 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_EcoBoost_engine

    2019 Expedition Forscan Codes

Ford changed to a cloud based version of IDS, and the forscan team are currently working on reverse engineering it.

Ford (and Mercury, and Lincoln by extension) vehicles have had this feature for, literally, decades.

2018+ Post Pictures Thread!- Lets see those shiny new trucks!

Getting some Gator vibes from that. Normally, I am against smoking or tinting lights both for safety reason, and because it's usually done poorly, but yours looks great!

Generally speaking, Ford recommends running premium fuel under severe operating conditions, such as hot weather and towing.

Shopping for an Expedition - need help with which year

Gen 1 ecoboost was only introduced on the Explorer in 2013 (not sure if PIUs had it earlier). 5th gen started in 2011. It was also used in the latest gen Flex - I think even from 2009 onwards - and I'm pretty sure it was in the Taurus too (civ and police). A widely used engine and quite sturdy...

Shopping for an Expedition - need help with which year

Same engine was available in the Explorers 2013-19. Different transmission though.

Shopping for an Expedition - need help with which year

I think 2017 was the first year of the gen 2 ecoboost engines. @16plati can you confirm?

    3.31 vs 3.73 gear ratio

I'd be beating down the door of my local dealer if this gen of Expys had that mileage for sitting driving.

    All the v6 haters

The current short bed single cab f150 is weird to look at. Always throws me off, because the majority are crew or super cabs around here.

    3.31 vs 3.73 gear ratio

Agreed a thousand times over. My Explorer gets 16mpg city, according to the sticker. I get 18mpg pretty easily.

Looking at buying, 2nd row question

Yeah, with all 3 rows up, doesn't seem like an enormous amount of space. Good for grocery hauling and baseball games at the weekend.

Looking at buying, 2nd row question

Higher trims have the captains as standard and the bench as an option from what I remember.

    All the v6 haters

I grew up learning that an inline 6 was one of the best and most reliable engine types around. Very popular in Europe, I worked on a quite a few vehicles from different decades that chose an inline 6.

    2020...

Thanks for the pic, that's interesting to see. Order guides will have the definitive answer, but dunno when they'll be released. Apparently by the end of this month, but 2019 order guide was released around mid July, so there might be some leeway. After having heard about what the King Ranch...

Can I stop the cruise from engaging the brakes on hills?

This thread is so confusing. Is there actually a question as to whether or not cruise control engine brakes going downhill?I s that not standard? Do people not do that anyway? What did everyone do when driving manual cars? Here is a link explaining adaptive cruise control in Fords -

Prospective Expedition Owner...What am I in for?

Very common on Explorers. Literally every post on the Facebook group for 5th gens is about the hood paint peeling, but it is covered by a 5yr/unlimited miles warranty.

    Ford extended warranty???

The reason for selling volume is actually so that more, and higher cost, service repairs are approved by Ford, and so this dealership will be at the top of the list (or close enough) to when it comes to waiting for parts as well.
