Open the lift glass and see if the wiper turns freely. There are old threads here about how to take it apart and lube it if you need to.
You'll need a code scan tool to reset the check engine light. The tool will also tell you if you have any other codes.
The clicking should be an automatic reset circuit breaker. You should be able to find out which one by feel. Pull it out and tell us what position it was in and what changes in how the vehicle starts or doesn't.
Plug the line to one nozzle and see if the other sprays better. Then look for leaks. Maybe have a helper run it while you look at all the hoses for leaks.
If you press the 7-8 and the 9-0 on the door at the same time it will lock the doors. Unlocking them with this method is more complicated unless you got the code with your owners manual. This might make your new spare more useful.
The PRNDL. Or in this case the PRND21. If the P doesn't light up when in Park but the others will light when it's in those positions you may have a problem in the solenoid that lets you shift out of Park. If the P does light up the problem is most likely your brake light switch.
My '08 runs okay if you disconnect the battery and then drive without doing a computer re-learning, but gas mileage suffers. Here is general advice on re-learning that I was told for another vehicle and seemed to help.
Start the first time after re-connecting battery and let it idle in Park...
Mine is a private brand from a parts store that was installed when I bought the Expy. It's maybe 5 years old. I traded my '09 Hyundai with 150k and the original battery in it recently.
Do you have a meter? Check the brake light switch and fuse. The switch has two circuits. When mine went bad the brake lights still worked but the shift interlock didn't so I couldn't get it out of Park.
Went out yesterday and started my Expy. Hit the wipers after it warmed up to clear water drops. Wipers came up halfway and stopped. Ran my Hyundai instead, but wife would rather ride in the Expy. Today I used a heat gun until I thought better of it and switched to a hair dryer blowing down at...
There is one more possibility but it will either be expensive or look like it should be featured on thereifixedit. A tag axle. They are popular on heavy trucks and I once saw one of the latter category. Someone had a camper made for a long bed pickup in a short bed pickup and mounted an axle...
Maybe. When I first looked at my 2008 the middle rear seat back wouldn't release and come up. The mechanic there said he pushed down hard on the seat back while pulling on the release lever and that freed it up.
Does the chair stay out on the lift or go inside? If it goes inside, can you move it forward so the weight is more centered? If it stays outside I think you need to ballast the front end. Stronger springs on the rear won't put more weight on the front tires. Do you have any use for a winch or a...
The right way to do this is with a wiring diagram and a voltmeter. Check for voltage at each connector from the blower motor back to where you know you have power. But you have to freeze your butt off doing this while it isn't working.
The Rube Goldberg way to do it is to buy a bunch of...
I don't have an answer for you, but maybe I have a clue. I disconnected my rear wiper motor for a while to stop a parasitic draw and the front washer wouldn't work while it was unplugged. After I plugged the rear wiper motor back in, it worked.
If you found the little white plastic washer that you move to unlock it, I think you have found the solenoid at the other end of the steel rod holding the washer. I have a column shift, and that's one unit. There should be a 3 wire cable going to it. One screw holds it in place on a column shift...
When my brake light switch went bad on my '08 the brake lights still worked. I replaced the double pole switch and fixed that part. I had some drama because I left the solenoid out for a while and not having it there caused a .6 amp parasitic draw that ran my battery down, but I suggest that you...
When I replaced mine I pulled the mat (rubber mat instead of carpet) and pad back and found some soft rubber bonded to the floorboard that caused lots of friction trying to pull it out. I went to my kitchen and got a chopping mat...
My rear wiper motor was causing a parasitic draw and the first thing done was unplugging the rear wiper motor. With it unplugged the washer wouldn't work front or rear. You may have a wire to the rear wiper motor or something on a circuit board at the rear wiper motor causing your problem.
I...
