2017 factory brake controller
Just driving on the roads, hammering on the trans some. I was seeing temps ~170. This was prep work to tow our new trailer from Spokane, WA to San Diego. My trans temps with out the cooler and not towing were 195 - 203. I will try and update this thread after my first long tow.- Dabbill

4 prong to 7 prong
I was not able to find the correct pin to put in the connector. So what I ended up doing was cutting the orange wire, and using a barrel connector to extend the wire to the rear of the car. What are recommendations for tapping in to reverse wire to run to the 7 pin?- Dabbill

How to add remote start using forscan
Thanks. I work in IT and have ~25 VMs running on my home server. I was just hoping that I would not have to go that route if I didn't have to. -

How to add remote start using forscan
Can you use the ForScan phone app for modifications or is that only for reading codes? I do not own a Windows or Apple laptop. All my computers are Linux. Any one tried to run this software in WINE? -

Dinghy towing behind motorhome
You can flat tow a 2WD, but you will need to remove the rear drive shaft to keep the transmission from spinning. 4WD with transfer-case in neutral will keep the transmission from spinning.- Dabbill
