    The only difference in the limited tune and platinum tune is at Peak power and peak torque engine speeds. If you were to compare both graphs they are the same everywhere else.

    This engine was not design to run on E85 the seal on injectors and other area are not compatible. You are asking for trouble down the line.

    The Phase used in the 2020 model year engines are from a different manufacturer they do not have an issue. Plus the engine calibration has been changed to also improve the lock condition.     How long did you wait for cam phaser parts?

    First thing I did when I purchased my 2018 was unplug the VDOP sensor switch next to the crankshaft damper on the front cover. This give higher oil pressure when engine is running during all conditions. I presently have 25,000 miles with no problem.

    Try unplugging the oil VDOP sensor switch on the front engine cover near crankshaft damper to see if VCT noise gets less or goes away.

    Please remember when comparing MPG with different fuels you should drive the same route and pay attention to air inlet temperature "MCT". Higher air inlet temperature will decrease spark and therefore hurt performance / mileage.

    This should be easy for a good dealer. Clean the engine, change oil & add oil dye. Run engine on a hoist and use a black light to see where the oil is coming from.

    Do you know some models just come with 3.73 axle. Example the Max option without trailer tow package.
