    Wind Noise

Nope, no tuner, only added a flux capacitor. I've found the aluminum body structure to perform even better than stainless steel in time travel.

    Wind Noise

Nope. Mine's quiet as a church mouse from 95 all the way to 150 mph. (100+ in a massive land yacht like this is probably pretty uncommon, given the majority of us are SANE)

    Wind Noise

That took place last year, July if I remember correctly. They didn't mention a TSB at the time

    Wind Noise

I had the same issue - verified by folding in the mirrors, whistle disappears - also same speed range of 45-55 mph where the whistling was the worst. My dealership got the whole driver door mirror assembly replaced by Ford in an overkill effort but it fixed the problem.

    Windshield Wiper De-Icers

This is correct. I have a 2019 Platinum and that's exactly what's there and how they work

This forum is talking me out of buying

How about this? Ask how many current owners if they would make the same purchase/ deal again today, versus regretting being an owner of an Expedition. Maybe ask year and miles if that's relevant as well.

This forum is talking me out of buying

Well, let me add at least one experience of buying a 2019 Expedition where I've had nothing but 8k miles of smiles. We love it and haven't had any issue except wishing we'd sold our Escalade sooner and got this Expedition sooner.

This forum is talking me out of buying

Well, if this forum concerns you enough not to buy, I STRONGLY recommend you don't go on ANY more forums about ANY future vehicle purchases. Rule of thumb to consider is that forums are where 1-5% of owners (at best) actually post comments and even then only if they are having issues. They're...

Factory 18" wheels and Blizzacks for my Platinum

Yeah, that would happen only if I had my wife out there with a camera. Hahaha! That's not an option because she wasn't happy with the idea of even testing the Expedition. I'm just glad she didn't watch or go with me.

    Polished wheel care

Those are the same 22s I have on my 2019 Platinum. They're painted/ coated, so care is a lot easier than bare, exposed polished aluminum. You can tell by taking a non-abrasive aluminum polish (Mothers, Blue Magic) and treating a small spot. You'll not get any black oxidation off of the wheel...

    Thank you guys, very much!!

Factory 18" wheels and Blizzacks for my Platinum

The 22s were crummy in the compact snow and ice, and I like separate wheels for winter anyway, so I found some 18" takeoffs and wrapped them in new snow tires. The Expedition is now a tank in the snow! We got 16" of snow fall just this past week, so I took the Expi out in the back acreage and...

The 4th Gen is too Expensive... or maybe not?

I will only carry one financed/ lease payment at a time. My wife and I each have a vehicle, plus my motorcycles and ATVs. All but the Expedition were paid for in cash. And that's in a household that's easily in the top 5-10% of the area for income. WAY TOO MANY households are paying notes on...

The 4th Gen is too Expensive... or maybe not?

My last SUV was an Escalade which I bought 2 years old with 19k miles on it. I kept it for right at 10 years and then got rid of it before going with the Expedition. I could have kept it longer, but things were wearing out and I could see my maintenance costs creeping up with more needing to be...

The 4th Gen is too Expensive... or maybe not?

Applauding all around. Good points in the long post, though more of a sermon than comment about the OP. Is the 4th gen too expensive? It appears not as sales are extremely healthy and they're moving out the door. Vehicles in general are too expensive these days, but to Toby's point, it doesn't...

    Which is right ?

One option is to decline the dealer's effort of collecting taxes or license fees, opting instead to pay them directly to the DMV. This way, you know you're only paying exactly what's required. The huge downside is this route is not an option if you're trying to finance the bulk of your...

    Which is right ?

California's gonna get their pound of flesh outta you. It's not Ford doin' the screwin'. Both numbers have $61,000 after savings showing before taxes(which is a GREAT deal, good job!) Best thing to do is contact your dealer or the local department of motor vehicles

    Where to adjust drive modes?

Twist that Drive Mode knob until your dashboard says "Sport" mode. Then press that gas pedal and the throttle response/ gear selection will deliver on the torque you'd expect from 470 ft-lbs (480 from the Platinum's tune)

    Am I getting a good deal? '19 Limited 4WD

Great deal. What metro area? I'm in eastern Washington / north Idaho area. There weren't but four Platinums within 200 miles at the time I got mine.

    Am I getting a good deal? '19 Limited 4WD

My 2019 Platinum had a sticker of $80,530. Final price was $72,200. That $8,330 is about 10% off of MSRP. This was May 2019. Could I have gotten better? Maybe. Some others have claimed much better while others claimed not quite as good. But that's all they are is claims. Reality is that rarity...
