    Just did my first haul with my new to me 14 Expedition

    I think the frontal area of what you are towing affects mpg also. The whole car and trailer fits behind the expedition lol... i was really happy with the mileage.... way better than the 9 or 10 I was expecting. .This Expedition is 2WD.. I should have been about 5800 total trailer weight...

    Pretty impressed. Just hauled my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP from southern Illinois to Fort Worth, TX on a U-Haul car hauler. 2014 Short Limited, 57000 miles. 2nd week.owning it. Pulled very well. Engine never worked hard at all. MPGs were much better than I anticipated. Long highway...
