Tow package for extra 4x4 worth it?
I've had the heavy duty package in both my current and last (2006) Expeditions. while the need for it now regarding snow for me is minimal (Florida) I used to live in the Pocono mountains and certainly drove my share in heavy snow conditions! Came in handy though, dragging other sorry souls out...- PC Rob

2016+ Hood and Tailgate Corrosion / Bubbling Paint Warranty Claim Approved!!!
Lift gate gate replaced at a cost of $1243 out of my pocket so far! Dealing with Ford still to see what else they can do! Supposedly, they may still come through and give me a better deal by refunding some or all of my out of pocket expense. I'll update when I have more info, but meanwhile look...- PC Rob

Corrosion issues on 2018?
Currently have my 2015 in the Ford body shop here in Daytona Beach. Swapping out my entire rear lift gate due to the all way too old bubbling paint issue where the skin folds at the bottom of the door. Seems like Ford has really taken the 5th on this issue since you can find stories like this...- PC Rob

Feel your pain! 2018 bought it brand new $54K and still dealing with the repeat issues of my 2006! Bubbling paint on the rear liftgate and with the help of a friend in Ford, I still have to pay almost $1200 for the replacement.
