Easy to eliminate tire noise I just rotated and the sound was still in the front. For mine I had the distinctive increased noise from turning hard right as it was the drivers side. I thought it was the tires being the rig only has 24k and thought the wheel bearings would have a better lifespan
Got it back yesterday and shifts back to normal..... they removed tranny, replaced C,D,F clutch drums clutch balance piston, seals etc. Also said the land for the snap ring groove was broken off. It was nice to have is back for a day as it goes back in tomorrow as the tranny is leaking looks...
I read about the the shifting issues in this transmission but I knew it was a little more than that.
Actually just got some info from the dealer. Broken snap ring in the c-clutch making contact with the drum internally. Simple part but difficult to get to.
