Engine misfire
I was having similar issues with my 05. I've had it in the shop many times for misfires on several cylinders. I've had spark plugs changed along with a coil or two. Now I'm having the DTC code for timing retard. My mechanic says since my timing chain needs replacing I should have the cam phasers...- James Bradley

Can you tell if Expy has tow package based off VIN?
I myself have an 05 Expy EB that if I remember correctly when I purchased was told it has the HD towing package. However I looked at the wiring connector and it has only 4 pins. Also when I look in the engine compartment I see the radiator but in front of it there is the condensing cooler for...- James Bradley

My 05 EB Expy has 157K and my mechanic told me I should switch to a 10W40 oil. This recommendation came after I had the oil changed previously with a 5W20 and after around 2K miles the oil disappeared. It is possible the oil change place didn't do a proper job.
