    2019 Shock BAD at 30kmi

    All my 4 shocks blew up at 63k miles. I have 2019 XLT 4WD. I just replaced all with Bilstein 5100 from Shock Surplus and the ride are day and night difference. I have more control on the curvy roads and firmer ride than stock.

    Is my mpg reasonable?

    I just took a 1000 miles road trip and I got around 23 mpg average. New plugs, new air filter, new oil change and I drove around 70-75 mph. I got around 520 miles on a full tank when I filled up.

    Rear brakes wear faster in these RWD SUV if you use adaptive cruise control a lot or towing. Mine was replaced first time around 28k miles and again at 53k miles.

    I just ordered the rear rotors and pads from AAP. The guy said the pads are from Akebono. $210 with coupon and I'm looking to install them this week.

    Thermostat Genuine OEM Ford Thermostat Assembly HL3Z8575B. Gasket - Genuine OEM Ford Engine Coolant Thermostat Gasket HL3Z8255A. I got both on Ebay from a Ford dealer.

    My kids call it a living room on wheels. We have 2019 XLT with 202a package. I installed 11 inch headrest monitor with HDMI hook up to the PS4 console. I got an inverter for the PS4. Road trips are fun since everyone enjoys the ride.

    I just drove to Arkansas from Atlanta and back. Spent around $300 on gas for the whole trip. Each full tank got around 450 miles driving at 75 mph average. There were moments my engine temp went over 232 and transmission temp over 214. The Expedition is a tank for road trip.
