I have has zero issues with mine and cannot see a warranty issue either. For the time it takes you could plug it back in before going to a dealer. To keep mine clean I sealed the plug with dielectric grease to keep corrosion out of it.
When I installed my Weathertech flaps I drilled a hole towards the inside through the fender liner. Then installed stainless fender washers and fasteners to stop them from flopping around. Much more secure now.
I was wondering that, the only one that could have would have been me. I had it in my pocket so maybe I sat down in a way the buttons got pressed. I now stopped keeping in in my front pants pocket and will take it out of my pocket and put it away and see what happens.
Well I had a surprise when I went out to my garage this morning. I don't lock the doors and found the doors locked... so I got in and started it up and then I thought a window was open. Nope, the rear hatch was open with the door up against the wall. WTH??? Is this thing picking up some kind of...
I disconnected the wire to the foot sensor last night. Two minute job and didn't need anything to do it, not even a screwdriver. I plan to go back under later before the snow and salt hits and seal the hole where I pulled the plug out with some Dow silicone grease. I will also smear some on the...
Yes that is correct, you have to manually open it by hand.
I think I will try that sensor disable now that I know about it. Then I can still use the power lift without worrying about it activating by itself. It is a real rush when you are in the garage and go behind the truck and the lift opens...
Mine never opens when I want it to with my foot. I can kick under there 10 times and give up and push the button. But on the other hand you can be sure if I am hooking up my trailer or doing something in the garage the damn thing will attack me. I finally shut off the kick to open feature in the...
I would say the data for 2018 is pretty darn close for combined city and highway driving (50-50). The ones that drive more highway will average higher and the reverse for more city. (IMHO) The data for 2019's are kind of all over the place, not enough data to smooth it out yet. No change to the...
Not since the 70's actually, we have been metric since then. So most of the younger generations probably don't know about it. Us old farts still use both.
Usually when you put big tires on your mileage suffers quite a bit. I only have 500 miles on mine so far since I picked it up last Friday. I did a 250 mile round trip with the cruise set at 72 mph. I got 21.8 mpg going down and 20.3 mpg on the return trip. The on board calculator was showing 21...
You are using the old Canadian gallon which does not compare the the US gallon the other guys are using. A Canadian gallon is 4.546 litres where the US gallon is only 3.785 litres.
Using the US gal these are the results.
9.9 l/100km is 23.75 mpg
10.9l/100km is 21.58 mpg
13.5l/100km is 17.42 mpg
Yes to sunroof and no trim. I am thinking it is date related. Seems to be around May 2019 builds and after that don't have them. Either cost cutting or they ran out of them and just decided to not use them.
I was just referring to the retail price they ask, that option makes for a totally different level of truck and the price of the option reflects that. I am surprised they just didn't call it a Lariat with that pkg added on.
I would imagine I could get service anywhere same as a bike. The key thing is they have intercountry agreements where I cannot buy a new US vehicle and bring it to Canada and vise versa. A used one yes but not new. That way they protect dealers on both sides of the border.
You have to consider that one has the 202A pkg on it which is about the same as a Lariat was in the pickup trucks. It is a pricey upgrade over a standard XLT.
