That is definitely not the cause. I have never had any "papers" on my dashboard and experience the same problem on my 2012. I cannot stand to have anything on my dashboard, so other than a little dust, nothing is blocking the sensor.- 2012XLT

ABS, TRAC Control and Brake lights on.
I wish I would have read this a week ago. Had the same symptoms, took it to my local Ford dealer who wanted to replace both the ABS module and the hydraulic module to the tune of $2k. I told them to replace just the ABS module, which set me back $900. So far, no more fault lights. I'm wondering...- 2012XLT
