Also I remember the transmission was starting to act up, like it wouldn't go into gear sometimes when putting it in R and then it would be quite abrupt, also one time D I hit the gas and nothing for 1/2 second and it kicked in hard, the rear wheels even chirped on dry pavement.
I got it new and first owner, oil changes every 5k on full syn from the dealer, but I guess I was unlucky when my engine was built.
But it does make me wonder when I got my cam phasers replaced could it have been possible the tech messed up the install?
I am just amazed how many problems can creep up all of the sudden, i was only about 30 miles from home after leaving a sales appt at a hospital for another appt, obviously, i had to cancel all of those and personally, it cost me financially
The past 6 months it's been in and out of the Ford dealer for a host of mechanical and electrical issues from bad USB, replacement of cam phasers, wastegate rattle noise, faulty low pressure oil warning still a problem after replacing harnesses, PCMs etc...my dealer has been going back and...
So I get the warning repeatedly now and the check engine light is on, it did get the cam phaser recall done last month.
My Ford service was able to let me bring it in now, currently waiting on diagnosis and they’re looking into my battery issue too.
