    Heat

great description Yupster.. I want to do the flush on my 2000 Eddie Bauer. Did you have to remove any cowling to make the access easier? Also I' wondering it it's safe to blow some CLR or facsimile into the core to help with the job instead of 12x water. thanks.. DG

    Door lock code

I found my factory code in the owners manual case. You can then change it to your own PIN following the instructions.

    Tune Up - 1998 Exped XLT 4WD

Like MrSticker says.. grab the codes. (I have a cheap OBD2 that works along with my smart phone to read codes).. you can buy more sophisticated ones but this cheap one does me fine (From Amazon). You may pinpoint down to one faulty COP.. or even air intake without spending $$$ easter egging...

    Expedition - Impressed (tow capacity)

You can add your own air bags... cheap and easy if you buy the manual air bags. Makes a big difference with the tongue weight plus cargo. Load levellers are also a nice addon.

AWD shifts by itself intlo 4x4 at crawling speeds

I don't read where he says it goes into 4x4 LOW.... just 4x4... pulling the F104 will help determine if it's the sensor or the actual motor.
